About / Student engineer

Software makes more sense when you understand the system around it.

I’m a student developer from South Brunswick, New Jersey, graduating in 2027. I’m most interested in the work where software, infrastructure, security, and AI stop being separate subjects.

Writing code is one part of engineering. A useful system also needs deliberate architecture, secure access, reliable deployment, monitoring, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.

Projects I have built and maintained.

2023-Present

Personal Infrastructure Lab · Self-directed

Infrastructure engineering

Design and maintain a self-hosted environment for virtualization, containers, identity, networking, monitoring, and secure service deployment.

  • Operate Linux-based virtual machines and containers across self-hosted and cloud-connected environments.
  • Configure DNS, TLS, reverse proxies, private networking, and remote access.
  • Build monitoring dashboards and investigate failures involving dependencies, storage, permissions, and configuration.

GuessThatStat · Student project

Developer

Designed and shipped an interactive statistics practice application, then refined the product based on feedback from classmates.

  • Implemented question progression, answer evaluation, score tracking, and immediate feedback.
  • Structured the frontend in TypeScript and deployed it for use outside a local environment.
  • Used peer feedback to clarify the interaction and study flow.

How I use AI development tools.

I use AI-assisted development to explore unfamiliar codebases, compare approaches, automate repetitive work, and accelerate debugging.

Generated code is a starting point. I review changes, test behavior, inspect failures, and refine the result until I understand what is running and why.

Interests outside computing.

Outside software, I follow aerospace, physics, Formula 1, basketball, soccer, and UFC. I enjoy learning how technical systems and competitive teams improve performance over time.
